Pradeep Singh

VICE CHAIRMAN AND MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mr. Pradeep Singh is Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, IDFC Projects. He has over 30 years of work experience in government and non government organizations, private sector and academia. Mr. Singh has been engaged in the infrastructure sector for the last 11 years.

Earlier, as the CEO of IL&FS Infrastructure Development Corporation (IIDC), he oversaw the development of infrastructure projects in Public Private Partnership formats in collaboration with State and Central Governments in various sectors including Roads, Ports, Airports, Water Supply and Sewage systems, e-Governance, Industrial Parks and Tourism.

Mr. Singh was a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from 1978 to 1995 and later held the position of Assistant Country Director of CARE India, an international NGO from 1995 to 1997. He has been a visiting faculty member at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and has consulted for the World Bank and the ADB. Mr. Singh holds a Master of Public Administration degree (MPA) from Harvard University and was a Rotary International Graduate Fellow at Stanford University USA. He also holds an MBA from Punjab University, and an M.Sc (Physics) from Punjabi University, India.
