Sical Logistics Limited (Sical) is amongst the leading integrated supply chain management service providers in India and is a leading logistics company for dry bulk cargo in south India. It is a part of the Dr. M. A. Chidambaram industrial conglomerate. Its shares are listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Sical’s logistics business includes port logistics (stevedoring services, dry bulk berth operations, custom house and shipping agency services and terminals), inland logistics (trucking and warehousing services), offshore logistics (dredging) and container logistics (container freight stations, container train operations and the Tuticorin container terminal in joint venture with the Port of Singapore Authority (PSA)).
IDFC PE fully exited its investment in Sical in 2010.
