Mr. Shardul Shroff
Mr. Shardul Shroff is an Independent Director on the IDFC Board. He is the joint managing partner of Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co., one of the leading law firms of India.
Mr. Shroff has been a practicing lawyer since 1980 and has vast experience in the areas of project finance, corporate and structured finance, insurance, telecom, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, disinvestment and a large body of corporate advisory work across sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Government Law College, Mumbai.
Mr. Shroff has been actively involved in important economic legislation, as a member of several high powered committees appointed by the GoI, on diverse areas like Companies Act, insolvency, the Takeover Code.
