IDFC Foundation was set up in March 2011 as a not-for-profit company under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 to oversee and coordinate the various development activities being pursued by IDFC Limited (IDFC). The Foundation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of IDFC.
