Mr. Tapasije Mishra is the CEO of IDFC Capital and responsible for the investment banking business at IDFC. He co-founded the business and has played a key role in building it from scratch since 1993. The firm is amongst India's leading investment banking franchises. In FY2011, it accounted for over 20% of India's equity fund raising across public markets (IPOs\QIPs) and private equity. The firm dominates advisory, M&A and fund raising across the infrastructure sector.

Mr. Mishra is skilled at deal origination and completion with strong relationship skills across institutional investors and corporate India. He has proven leadership and team-building abilities and is responsible for building a strong knowledge and compliance based organizational culture.

Prior to joining IDFC, Mr. Mishra was employed at DSP Merrill Lynch, Mumbai. Mr. Mishra holds a Masters Degree in Management from Mumbai University and graduated in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
