Investment description

VTPL is an SPV set up by IJM Corporation Berhad, Malaysia for the 6-laning of the Chilakaluripet-Vijayawada section of NH-5 (a distance of 82.50 km) in the State of Andhra Pradesh on a Build, Operate and Transfer basis as part of the National Highways Development Programme ("NHDP") Phase V.
The project is part of the highway connecting Chennai and Kolkata as part of the Golden Quadrilateral project. The road forms an important link between the cities in Andhra Pradesh like Guntur and Vijayawada, and the ports of Kakinada and Vishakhapatnam.
