Investment description

Promoted by Cargo Service Centre Limited (CSC),Delhi Cargo Service Centre (DCSC) operates and manages one of the two air cargo terminals at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. In 2009, DCSC was awarded a 25-year concession to design, construct, operate and manage an International Greenfield Cargo Terminal and take over the operations of the existing domestic cargo terminal. The project is spread over 50,000 SQM and integrates infrastructure, process, people and technology to deliver a one-stop solution for air cargo handling at the terminal.

The terminal is equipped to meet the diverse and ever-changing requirements of airlines, freight forwarders, exporters, importers and other partners in the supply chain industry. Its modular design permits flexible, scalable capacity at short notice. The terminal has an innovative two-tier structure which allocates export and import processing on two separate levels, allowing for swift & simultaneous handling without compromise. The current handling capacity is over 500,000 tonnes of cargo per year with potential to increase capacity to 1.25 million tonnes.

CSC is owned by Mr. Tushar Jani and Mr.KhushrooDubash, co-founders and promoters of Blue Dart Courier Services. Both are recognized among the founders of the express industry in India. Apart from owning DCSC, it operates Perishable and EICI cargo terminals at Mumbai Airport, offers general cargo handling and supervisory services to key airlines at Chennai Airport and operates and manages a Cool Chain Solutions facility at Naroda, Ahmadabad.
